About Ratha Yatra

This Festival of Chariots, traditionally known as Ratha Yatra,  is an ancient festival which goes back thousands of years. This massive festival draws millions of pilgrims to the small beach town,  Jagannath Puri in Eastern India, where the otherwise temple worship is brought to streets for everyone. Every year three 45 foot tall carts are lovingly crafted and prepared for the celebration.

Our enthusiastic goal is to assist His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), in sharing this festival and culture all around the world.
